NHV Hat Day
Every year, the NHV organizes a Hat Day for members and for anyone who is more interested in hats. Fixed ingredients on this day are: workshops and lectures, and a hat exhibition and / or show. In addition, the Hoedendag is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow hat designers and members.
The NHV Hat Day 16 will take place on November 2019. This year, the venue chosen was the De Til meeting and party center in Giessenburg, a cozy and ground floor complex where all events and course rooms can be reached directly from the central hall. De Til is easily accessible by car and there is ample parking space around the building. If you come by train, you can sign up for the NHV shuttle service from Hardinxveld-Giessendam station.
All familiar ingredients are present again on this day. During the day, visitors can participate in various workshops such as: Tiara and main creations by Denise Innes-Spencer from the British School of Millinery, Working with crinoline by Els Robberechts, Make flowers from feathers or silk by silk flower, Turban from sinamay by Pierre & Pierre Millinery Supplies, Couture techniques by Wies Mauduit, Designs of special hat pins by Ana Ehling and Demonstration hair and hat by Marleen Zaaijer from Sjiek Hair and Make-up

For lovers of the NHV Hat Competition the theme of 2020 will be announced during the day and the 2019 edition will be revisited with the publication of the winner of the 2019 public award.
